We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Imagine getting the worst news ever, that your child has cancer.  That is what happened to us when our son, age 13, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, in 2008.  He underwent chemo and radiation that ended in 2009.  

Trent thankfully went into remission and never recurred, while there are others that aren't so lucky.  He is a SURVIVOR and will be 30 this year.  While he had a very slim chance of having children, we were lucky to get two handsome grandsons from him.  Pictures below.

That’s what this fundraiser is all about: supporting childhood cancer research. In its 25th year of raising funds, St. Baldrick’s supports the best research across the U.S. and beyond.

Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer somewhere in the world? And in the U.S., 1 in 5 will not survive. These kids need our help.
