We are a local fraternity at The College of New Jersey. Each spring semester, we come together to raise as much money as possible for pediatric cancer research. Last spring, we set a goal to raise $40,000 before our Shave That Saves event on campus, where we shave our heads to raise awareness for the thousands of children who are fighting against this deadly disease. Unfortunately, our efforts were cut short on March 13th, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We were on track to obliterate the goal we set for ourselves.
