Event Details

We are excited to be bringing St Baldrick's back for the 3rd year at UNCG! Join us Saturday October 29th for our Spartans Shave for the Brave event! This year we are partnering with the brothers of Pi Kappa Phi! We will be honoring Miss Allie Crow who is battling DSCRT a rare sarcoma. She is currently in treatment and is doing well!  Join your fellow Spartans as we try to raise $3500 for childhood cancer research! You can sign up to be a shavee and go bald to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer! We are also offering the opportunity for you to get your hair cut to donate to a wig making charity! Be the Match will also be at our event! We will have music, raffles and games as well! It will be a fun day! Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
