Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. The back story: David Heard grew up on College Hill and attended football, basketball and lacrosse events with his family along with a few plays. Campus was his home away from home. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2008 and died on February 10, 2011. The National Crane Project involved so many students and is the legacy that continues along with this event in his memory. The student athletes have truly built this event and we welcome everyone to be a part of it!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
