In October of 2010 we received the unexpected news every parent dreads..."Ellie had a large tumor wrapped around her spine, and it is most likely cancerous". Following many tests and a long invasive surgery, we learned that it was cancer, but it was also fully removed. Almost a year and a half later, she remains cancer free! We are grateful for skilled physicians and cutting edge pediatric cancer research which gave them the knowledge to treat Ellie.
