Event Details

We're here again in the Northport Community to continue our battle against childhood cancers. As caring and sympathetic people, we've stood together for these past 11 years with the common goal of eradicating these horrible diseases that attack our precious children. Last year we were introduced to a beautiful little 7 month old Princess, Whitney Marie Posillico. Whitney was diagnosed only a few weeks after birth with a pediatric kidney cancer. At such a very young age she began her own battle against a horrible monster. While she struggled and fought for the entire year, Whitney's love still found ways for her to smile, to laugh and to love. She won the hearts of all who were fortunate to see her and hear her. A little after a year with us here on Earth, Whitney was called to Heaven. Another Angel watches us from above. This year, the 2013 St Baldrick's events in Northport are dedicated to our Precious Princess, Whitney Marie Poscillico. Please, so that no other child should endure such sickness, and no other family should endure the sorrowful loss of a child - Volunteer today. Help us Conquer Kids' Cancers. Its time to advance our next wave of attack on childhood cancers. Not only to rid the world of these deadly diseases, but to improve the quality of life for the survivors of childhood and young adult cancers. Be a shavee, be a volunteer, be a supporter. There are many ways to get involved. In Memory of Whitney and for children everywhere, start by registering here.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
