UPDATE!! -- Sorry, but we will NOT hold the event Saturday.

CANCELLED! Please spread the word. CANCELLED!

Needless to say ... a tough decision. Virus status/news has seemed to change by the hour and I decided to table an official event which would encourage hundreds to gather in the name of health and wellness this week.

Keep an eye out for a FACEBOOK LIVE Event during which my sons will shave my head this Saturday at home! (Email me for Facebook Contact Info - jobinhk@aol.com)

I thank the entire team for its support, effort and enthusiasm about going forward: Steven Torres, Spesh, Paula Serrano, Alex Neri, Guy Gettens and Undercover, Adam Levine, Brian Philipson, No So, Donal McGuire, Chrissy Ward O'Brien, Mark Stehli, Nicole Appice-Davis, Nik Drumm and all extended members of the support team.

Please thank local merchant supporters, among them:

We're back!!

I've a couple of healthy sons, Luke and Jake. Others aren't so lucky. Help us support the kids and their heroic families in their fight against the scourge of childhood cancer.

I first did this about 10 years ago, as an offshoot of an old college St. Pat's Party, after reading of one six-year old named Liam who lost his courageous battle with cancer. Within that same year, Luke's friend - also named Liam - contracted cancer, and we came back to do it again. As kids' cancer is still around, so are we. Let's make this the most successful event in our history. The St. Baldrick's Foundation has raised over $200 Million nationally. We have raised nearly $50,000 in our local events. Help us make this the most successful year ever? (Full disclosure: I dream of a $50K take in one year, one of these years.)

One year we had 20 Shavees, including a crew from the S
t. Peter's Prep rugby team (anyone out there know "Prep"?) and a handful of cops from the burbs (anyone out there know any cops or firefighters?)

Please DONATE. Consider really throwing down - BRAVE THE SHAVE - and get friends and family to sponsor your getting shorn in solidarity with the kids. Please also become a voice for the cause by SHARING THIS PAGE with all you can.

We'll have some live music, food and drink specials and a great, fun, family crowd at Northern Soul on March 14th. Hope to see you. Slainte!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
