Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation for the 2013 St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Shavees are asked to Pre-Register online, create a team (or sign up as an individual), then start collecting pledges. Bringing family and friends to help cheer on participants at the event is highly encouraged! Since 2006, with the help of the northern Nevada community, the Northern NEvada Children's Cancer Foundation has raised more than one million dollars for research at local St. Baldricks celebrations and shaved 1600 heads! Because of YOU, our event is one of the largest and most successful St. Baldrick's celebrations in the WORLD! We know times are tough but so is being a kid and having cancer, so show you care...it's only hair! Thanks and tell everyone you know to help YOU shave the way to a cure!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
