Event Details

Trinity Bar and Restaurant in Floral Park, N.Y., will host a St. Baldrick’s Foundation signature head-shaving event to raise funds and awareness for lifesaving childhood cancer research on Saturday, April 13. With a goal of raising $150,000 nearly 150 participants have registered to shave their heads to support the Foundation’s mission to Conquer Childhood Cancers! This is the sixth year for this event, which honors the memory of Aiden Binkley, a Floral Park boy who suffered from a rare form of cancer and was the spokesperson at the past events. In Decemeber 2010, Aiden passed away after a hard battle with cancer. In keeping with the fire truck ride that Aiden took at the first event, the local Floral Park Fire Department and Floral Park Police Department now take more than 80 kids in firetrucks and police cars to the event. Last year’s event started with a procession of 15 police and fire trucks. Please come and join this event!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
