Event Details

Join in on Hofstra University's 2012 St. Baldrick's Day Event! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. The Hofstra University event has been run the last 3 years by the Hofstra Roller Hockey Team and has raised over $20,000 in that time. Get involved as a sports team, fraternity, sorority, student group, or individual and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Sign up today or contact event organizer Thomas Kostiw for more information

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
