Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! Come out and help support kids with cancer at this fundraising/donation event! Atlanta Pediatric Cancer Outreach is teaming up with Children With Hair Loss and St. Baldrick's in order to donate hair and raise money for kids with cancer. All hair will be shaved or cut by licensed and professional stylists from salons in the Atlanta area such as Kathy Adams Salon and Salon Red. Help us reach our goal of $1000!

Children With Hair Loss uses hair donations to make wigs for children with medically related hair loss. All wigs are given to children at no cost to them. In order to participate, you must donate 8 inches of hair. Color treated hair is completely fine to donate! Stylists will do some styling after the initial cut. St. Baldrick's is a national organization that holds head shaving events in order to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Shavees get "sponsored" by their families and friends to shave their head if others donate to the cause. Although shaving is happily accepted, we'll also be raising money through teams of campus organizations! We'll be allowing organizations to team up with one other on campus organization, and the team that raises the most money will win a pizza party for up to 10 pizzas.  Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
