HERE WE GO!!!!!! LETS STOMP THAT $30,000 GOAL INTO THE GROUND. MORE TO COME.... We are selling chances at a 50/50, a Ruger 10/22 rifle (Thanks Outdoor Store!)valued at $200.00 and a pair of Rayban unisex sunglasses valued at $150.00 (thanks lenscrafters OVM!) BE TAYLOR WILL START US OFF WITH A SONG ALSO! THANKS B.E. ! We have enough volunteers to man the community booth at the Ohio Valley mall on feb. 24th (sat.) from 11 to 4pm. we will sell raffle tickets and coffee mugs as well as St.Baldricks bracelets as well as raise awareness for the cause! Event photos from 2006 are on the photo page! 4 weeks to go!!!! Lets recruit some shavees,barbers and volunteers!!!! These kids need our hard work and $$$$$ Our host,WVNCC is really into the spirit of things!!! They have played a bb tourney to raise $$$ as well as having a CHILI COOK-OFF set for thursday,march 1st from 11am to 1pm at the B&O building to raise $$$. Also dont miss your chance to throw a pie into Shaun's face at WVNCC's PIE-IN-THE-FACE fund-raiser also at the B&O building on thurs March 8th from 11 to 1. It's a buck a pie! All $$ going to the kids. HEY!!! As of 2-21-07 we have 8 brave ladies willing to be shorn!!! Talk about guts! Way to go gals!!! The Wheeling Nailers are involved! They will set up a "Nailers Barbershop" in the civic center concourse with their own barbers and shave noggins at $5.00 a clip! Its great to have the Nailers involved!!!! Hats (or hair...) off to Our man up north (Toronto) Anthony Porrecca is kicking arse and takin' names AND raising cash for the cause. Tony is the Northern Co-ord. for our event and is responsible in a major way for its success. Cant do it without you tony! There may be a meet and greet table at the event containing the new Ohio Valley Greyhounds Head Football coach and some of his players! Also The Childrens Museum of Wheeling is going to provide a couple of face-painters for the kiddies at the event. As usual, our great supporter Toni of Downtown Dicarlo's pizza is provided her great pizza and refreshments at the event. This is Dicarlo's 3rd event with us and we are blessed to have them as a supporter/sponser. Please check out our supporter page and give these guys the "business" most of these supporters have been with us since day one providing support by way of donations or door-prizes. We say "thanks" from the bottom of our clean-shaven hearts! If you see Dave Parsons give him a pat on the back. Since bringing this event to us,Dave has worked diligently and QUIETLY behind the scene to make this a success and bring fresh ideas to our cause. > He's another person we could'nt do without. Check out the County Clerk's office,located on the 2nd floor of the City/County building! Patty Fahey and her dedicated crew have turned that office into St.Baldricks Central!!!! Patty has shunned all others (charities) to be a force for the cause. We Love You Guys! We raised over $500.00 at the Ohio valley mall on 2-24-07. thanks Patty,Rose,Greg,Carolyn,Scott,Dave and the Parson clan as well as Teresa. Great Job and Thanks Ohio Valley!
