Event Details

**Due to the overwhelming amount of support and willingness to participate we have decided to close the Shavee role in order to best accommodate all who have signed up within the event time frame. We have also increased our event goal to $20,000 in high hopes that we will continue to ask for donations in the final week leading up to our event!** Over the years, we have spent countless hours in laughter and tears with our dedicated volunteers and families across the globe. This September the St. Baldrick’s Special Events Team will be hosting their very own head-shaving event! Last year, we raised over $33.5 million to fund childhood cancer research and we are digging deep to exceed that in 2013! So mark your calendars for this September because childhood cancer awareness month will be in full effect! Keep a look out for local pre-fundraising events and save the date for our official event: Saturday, September 28, 2013. That’s when we’ll be shaving heads at the Haven Gastropub in Pasadena to stand in solidarity with kids battling cancer, but more importantly, raising funds to find a cure! We hope you can join us in this excitement. Shave your head to stand in solidarity with children fighting cancer. Fundraise. Volunteer your time. Donate. You choose how you will impact the life of a child who has cancer. Together, let’s conquer! This September, be a hero for kids with cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
