Last year was EPIC! We raised just shy of $23,000!!! This was after only 3 previous years holding this event and starting with a few thousand. We have grown, not only with the amount we continue to raise year after year, but also in participation, and now this year.....we have joined forces with Hammonton Warren E Sooy Elementary School in Hammonton. Students and staff from Hammonton will now be joining us in this fight!! Last year, we had our first child ambassador and honored kid, Frankie LaSasso, a 2nd grade student from Hammonton. This year's event ambassador and honored kid, is 1st grader, Benjamin Grasso, also from Hammonton. Here is a little bit about Ben and his fight as stated by his mom, Dana:
"We are truly honored that you thought of us for the wonderful event. Benjamin is a 6-year-old that was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia) leukemia on August 18th. He has endured more medically than most people will throughout their entire life. Ben is currently undergoing round five of five of intensive chemotherapy treatments at CHOP. His marrow remains leukemia free since induction and we continue to pray that it remains that way after treatment is complete. Ben is more than a diagnosis and enjoys being outside and fishing with his brother. We have been truly blessed by so much support during this journey and we hope to help others in the future."

Children, teens and even infants are diagnosed with cancer every day, but donations are drastically down for research to find cures. We can change that – and save lives!
Our event will speed the search for cures, supporting the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants. Research is hope, and you can give kids that hope.
Sign up to shave your head or to raise money another way. Can’t join us? Please make a generous donation to give kids the long, healthy lives they deserve pr even just share our event page, getting the word out.
