Event Details

Dan McKenna, 23, has challenged himself to “Conquer Atacama” - a commitment to running the Atacama Crossing Race in Chile to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and pay tribute to five of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s New York-area Honored Kids. The Atacama Crossing is part of the RacingThePlanet 4 Deserts series, a unique category of rough country footraces that take place over seven days and in remote and culturally rich locations around the world. It’s not too late to support Dan’s efforts and track his progress in Chile. Follow Dan's journey on Facebook: www.facebook.com/ConquerAtacama

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
