  • IMPORTANT EVENT DAY INFORMATION

    Hi everyone!

Two days til tip off! And we already passed our goal. You are all amazing! Don't stop fundraising!

This email has some very important new bracket info and repeats information we already sent out at the end, for anyone who may have missed previous emails.

First and foremost, please remember sportsmanship and charity!

*We are using an online bracket system this year to help keep games moving.

*With 81 teams we were not able to schedule much of a break in between games, so please help us out by moving quickly between courts.

*We are trying to start all games in each round at the same time; if your team isn't at their assigned court when the whistle blows to begin play, they will play a shorter game because the clock will be running. We will do our best to stick to the schedule, some games may take longer and push us back as a whole.

*Games are played in two gyms, and there will be some back and forth between them. Courts 1-4 are in the big gym, courts 5-6 are down the hall in the small gym.

*All preliminary rounds are group stage, and all courts, teams and times are built into the brackets.

*We have attached links to each bracket, plus there will be signs with QR codes hung up throughout.

*There will also be printed copies hung up.

*Volunteers will update results online. All you need is your phone and your camera app, and you can refresh in between rounds to see updated winners and losers, and when it gets to the championship rounds, who plays where.

*This is all new so as always, we ask for your patience!

FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES!
1. Every player who raises $75 will receive a Buckets for St. Baldrick's string bag. Remember, the $25 you paid to play counts toward your total, so you just need to raise $50 more to earn one.

2. We will hold two player raffles, one for players raising $100 to $499, and one for players who raise $500 and above.

3. For the $500 + fundraisers, for every $500 a player raises, they will earn one ticket in the lottery for chance at one $100 Target gift card and four $50 gift cards to Play it Again Sports (one of our great sponsors that sells new and quality used sports equipment). So for example, players who raise $1,000 will be entered twice, and so on. Lots of you are pretty close to this level!

4. Players who raise between $100 and $499 will earn one ticket into a raffle for a chance at a $25 gift card from Amazon, Target or 5 Below, and $20 to Play it Again Sports.

 5. The top overall fundraiser will earn a $100 Target gift card and a recognition from St. Baldrick's.

6. Members of the top overall fundraising team will earn a trophy from St. Baldrick's and passes to Five Wits.

IMPORTANT RULES FOR FUNDRAISING RAFFLES
