Event Details

We plan to have events around downtown Rochester during March and wind up the 2025 St. Patrick's Season with a good old fashioned head shaving event where it all started at O'Connor's Public House back in 2006.

This will be our 4th year in the City Rochester, with events hosted on 4th Street the last 2 years. Over the last 17 years we have hosted events in Mount Clemens, Village of Romeo, Shelby Twp, Armada and Detroit and hope to see some of our amazing volunteers again this year. O'Connor's hosted one of the very first events for the  foundation way back in 2006.

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you to our $10,000 sponsor Quintech/Rova, for your generous donation.
If you would like to be a sponsor, please reach out to mistbaldricks@gmail.com.

The main event will be held indoors this year.
We will also be hosting a shaving event at The Snug in Clawson, same day and times.

We are doing this event in honor of Faolan MacBeth and her father Jameson MacBeth
Faolan touched her family in ways that they never knew existed and they were just beginning to get a glimpse of who she was going to be. She was full of wisdom and she was already kind and gentle, funny, outgoing, serious and above all, strong. She never asked to leave the hospital, but instead reached out to wipe tears from the faces around her.
Her family said that it would be an understatement to say she is deeply missed and that she changed their lives. She never had the chance to meet her little brother Derry who made his entrance into the world while she lay in hospital herself. They did not have the chance to cross paths between this world and the next. They can only hope that she helped her youngest brother Kieren along the way on his journey here two years after she had left.
Her parents Emily and Jameson MacBeth dedicated themselves to the mission of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation after her passing. Jameson MacBeth, who volunteered over the last 20 years never gave up the fight to conquer kids cancer.
He recently joined Faolan on June 22, but we will continue the battle in his name, for Faolan, until we conquer kids cancers.
