Event Details

As an on-going commitment to inspire change, create a lasting effect, and improve the lives of those in our community, River Rock Academy- Red Lion campus will be hosting its first SHAVE FOR THE BRAVE event.

On March 1, 2024, four staff volunteers have made the decision to shave their heads in order to help raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. As we teach our students to think outside of themselves and practice empathy and selflessness, we thought this was a great way to lead by example and give back to an amazing cause. Join us as we have some fun, raise money, and be heroes for kids with cancer!

We have a goal to reach $1,000 in donations. Please consider making a generous donation to give kids the long, healthy lives they deserve.

Worldwide, 300,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. In the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease.

Help us be a part of the 25th year of St. Baldrick’s volunteers working to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!

You’ll be giving hope to thousands of kids diagnosed with cancer every day – from babies and toddlers to children, teens and young adults. In fact, you’ll be saving lives!

Our event will speed the search for cures through St. Baldrick’s, the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

You can accelerate the next 25 years of cures for kids with cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
