Join us for our annual St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event as we raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research! This year, we are honored to support Annabelle A., a brave young warrior who has battled Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and is now in remission.
Meet Our Honored Kid – Annabelle A.Annabelle was diagnosed shortly after her 5th birthday at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. A spirited gymnast and loving sister, she first showed signs of illness after developing unexpected bruises while playing with her three brothers. What her family initially thought was anemia turned out to be AML. She began immediate treatment and, after six months of chemotherapy, celebrated her remission on April 29, 2024.
Despite the challenges of treatment, Annabelle has remained resilient—welcoming a new baby brother, balancing kindergarten both in-person and virtually, and even ringing the ‘cancer-free’ bell. Her strength and positivity continue to inspire us, and we dedicate this event to her and all the children fighting childhood cancer.
