Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

The Glenwood South Shave Event in Raleigh, in partnership with the Hibernian Hospitality Group, has raised close to $2.2 million from 38k+ individual donations, and has shaved over 3400 heads since the event’s inception in 2006! We are proud to be one of the largest shave events in the country, and look forward to continuing that tradition with your help.

Please join us for a fun day, filled with something for everyone. Activities include a Kids' Zone complete with firetruck, a raffle with a variety of great prizes, artists creating drawings on-the-spot, tasty food and beer, and of course great people supporting a great cause!

Helpful information:

Scheduler is open! Registered shavees can choose a time to shave by logging in to their participant page.

Kick-off is at 11:00 am. The Kids' Zone will be open until 2:30 pm. Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the event, with drawings beginning at 1:45 pm and occurring throughout the afternoon.

Parking information, with a map of parking lot and deck locations, is available at:

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
