Event Details

Bill and Joey's Excellent Shaving Adventure - The Next Decade” is back April 23rd, 2018 at Connolly's on West 45th in NYC, 4:00-8:00PM.  St. Baldrick’s is the world’s largest private fundraising organization raising monies and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Over the past 11 years thousands of friends, family and colleagues throughout the world have helped raise millions to help find a cure and we will be shedding our locks again on April 23rd to do our part. Joey and I have been bestowed the honor of Knight Commander of St. Baldrick’s for our 10 years+ of volunteerism. 11 years ago, our efforts started with a few individuals then working for NetApp, my 9 year old son and a few of his St Agnes teammates who inspired many from there and what a journey it's been. Close to $7,000,000 raised directly in our campaign and we have helped St. Baldrick’s go from 17MILL at the time to over $250,000,000 raised since. Our next decade continues again with individuals and leaders throughout the tech industry stepping up and inspiring their colleagues, friends and family by shedding their locks to again raise money and awareness. Leaders from Security Scorecard, Fortinet, UiPath, NetApp, Looking Glass, Varonis, BMC, RTP, Viewpoint, ServiceNow,the NYFD and another group of St Agnes CYO kids  and more are playing their part and  we are asking you to do yours. We have helped launch #TechTacklesCancer campaign  — a global initiative that unites tech companies worldwide to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Brave the shave and join one of our teams or start your own as part of our campaign, make a donation, take a sponsorship and/or join us on April 23rd. Please contact me directly with any questions or further inquiries on sponsorship, or reach out to Megan Santiago (Santiago@netapp.com)  or Maureen (Mquinn@fortinet.com) and they will be of great help. This event has been a tremendous coming together of friends and colleagues over the years and is one of the top IT networking events in the NY market. Please take moment as well and pass this along to friends and colleagues who may enjoy getting involved.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
