Event Details

Be a HERO for kids with cancer!  "Battle of the Bald"  is a St. Baldrick event being held here at Rutgers! Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or simply donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! We want you to show the world how AWESOME you are while still repping that Rutgers pride! Now if you have never heard of the St. Baldrick's Foundation, that is totally okay! It is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government!  If you want to be part of this team, its as simple as 1, 2, 3! All you need to do is sign up! You can sign up as a volunteer or as a participant to shave your head! Volunteering: We are looking for people who would want to help  set up and run this super cool event! If you are interesting in making this event epic then we encourage you to join our team! You can contact Katie Miller for more information about this position! Shaving Your Head: If you are feeling bold and are ready to shave your head to help kick childhood cancer's butt then lets get this thing started! You can sign up as an individual or as a team for either a specific organization and/or group! If you get involved, you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
