Event Details

In 2011 the University of Maine Circle K club hosted its 1st annual St. Baldrick's on Maine Day head shaving event! Now, in 2017, we are proud to host the 7th Annual St Baldrick's on Maine Day Head Shaving Event!        Together, alongside the UMaine community, we have raised over $85,000, shaved over 400 individual heads, and joined together for a common cause. We will continue to shave our heads, spread awareness, and raise funds for pediatric cancer research in the hopes that one day together we can help conquer childhood cancers!        We hope that you will join us in this great cause, whether it's by shaving your head, serving as a volunteer, making a donation or spreading the word about our event. Only together will we be able to make a difference as we stand in solidarity with children who have cancer and we hope you will stand with us.                                                                                                                                   Yours in Caring,                                                                                                       Daniel Norwood                                                                                                                 Event Organizer

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
