Event Details

Each weekday in North America, approximately 46 mothers are told that their child has cancer. The 46 Mommas represent all mothers who make the cancer journey with their child. Our annual teams are comprised of mothers from across the U.S. and Canada, with different backgrounds, beliefs and lifestyles; there is one thing that we have in common – childhood cancer. Each year, a new class of 46 Mommas is inducted into the cause to empower and engage mothers of children with cancer. In 2010, our inaugural team took the name 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave and established a fundraising goal of $1 million for The St. Baldrick's Foundation. Our campaign has now raised more than $1.5 million and we aren't ready to stop! On June 20, 2015 we are hosting the 46 Mommas' first mid-western event, gathering in the "City of Fountains" -- Kansas City, Missouri. We are excited to build another strong fundraising team for this 6th annual 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave event. If you are a mother of a child who has had or has cancer and would like to join us in Kansas City, please email membership@46mommas.com to request our shave-team application/registration information. We are looking forward to great BBQ, LOTS of fountains, winding boulevards, and a powerful expression of momma solidarity supporting childhood cancer research!
Help our campaign reach $2 Million raised by donating today!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
