I can't think of a better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than to honor my own "little St. Patrick"; my son, Patrick. Unfortunately, as many of you know, Paty lost his battle with Hepatoblastoma when he was only 18 months old. As someone who has witnessed the reality of pediatric cancer in such a personal way, I can tell you that it ravages the lives of innocent children and their families. I am committed to doing my part to help put an end to pediatric cancer so that someday, no other family will ever have to hear those terrifying words “Your child has cancer”. That is why, this year, in honor of my son, I am going to have my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Every dollar makes a difference, so please give whatever you can.
Thank you!
