I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This will be the 4th year I'll be shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! The before and after pictures are from 2016. I was first inspired to raise funds for St Baldrick's Foundation by a dear friend that shaved her head some years ago and who not only works for an amazing clinic that treats kids with cancer she helped create Circus Couture http://circus-couture.com/, an organization that raises funds for that clinic and for St Baldrick's. Childhood cancer has touched the lives of my family members as well as the children and family members of those I love. Right now a co workers child is fighting to recover from brain cancer.  Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.  It's bullshit. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Check out St Baldrick's Foundation if you are unfamiliar with what they do. Look at their financials, how they started, and why they exist and I think you'll agree that it's worth a few bucks.  And by all means come out March 15th to Ri Ra Irish pub here in Atlanta, have a pint and be a part of this fun and emotional event.
