Dear Friends:
Help a child with cancer, get a gift!
Once again, I am shaving it all off for kids with cancer for St. Baldrick’s Day, on April 3rd, in the village of Candor, New York. I will be joining fellow shavees, all in support of much-needed research dollars for childhood cancer. We shave to support the thousands of children who have lost their hair from chemotherapy treatment in their fight against cancer. Worldwide, there is a child diagnosed with cancer every three minutes and my 4-year-old daughter Carlye was one of them. Today, Carlye is a survivor, 23 years old and a happy, healthy young lady and I shave because I am so thankful for the research that guided her treatment and recovery. But we need much more research to find a cure, and also to find treatments that do not cause lifelong damage to survivors-- and that is why I am asking you to support me.
I have a gift for people who support me:
If you donate $5 or more, you get a song I wrote: “The Mountain,” about a young hero, Johnny Taggart, who inspired me in his brave fight against cancer, leaving this earth at age five.
If you donate $25 or more, you get an original 10-song album, all written by yours truly and featuring:
….Ten original songs, plus a bonus theme song from a renown web series
….Top lead vocalists including: Evanne Gordon, and occasionally, Steve Gordon himself!
…Saxaphone by Eli Gordon
…A Grammy-winning engineer and host of wonderful musician friends who helped me complete a passion.
If you donate $100 or more, you get the album and an autographed picture from my brother’s special collection, “The ugliest all-time pictures of Steve Gordon”
If you donate $300, or more, I will never make you listen to any of my music, nor my
"Jew from Salt Lake" jokes, and I will literally kiss the ground you walk on.
