I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
I lost my 11 year old daughter to osteosarcoma on March 3rd, 2013. Nesha was diagnosed June 12th, 2012 and given and 10% survival rate. We had 2 options, which is not what you wanna hear when it's your child's life at risk, fight for that 10% or go home and wait for her to die. We chose to fight. For 6 months they pumped horrible toxins into her body. She was so sick, lost a ton of weight and all her hair. And it bought us 9 months with her. The options that you have when your child is fighting cancer is not good enough. They weren't good enough for my child and they aren't good enough for your child. My daughter is in heaven but I'm still here fighting for your children.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
