Grainger employee and Zumba Instructor Marcela Becton has answered the call - yet again - to participate in this year’s St. Baldrick's Foundation annual fundraiser at the Brat Stop on March 7.
"This will be my second year that I will have my head shaved completely bald. I'm shaving my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This year I hope to raise at least $1,000 in donations. I believe that with your generosity, I can surpass this goal! So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!”
