UPDATE

My heartfelt thanks to all of you that have donated to the St Baldrick’s organization and especially to those who have contributed to my fund raising efforts.A special thanks to the 4 highest donors,

• Frank and Tricia D’Orazio

• Anonymous in Honor of Rusty Trombone

• Anonymous in Memory of Mrs. Audrey Sherwood

• Mr. Kevin Behan

My official beheading time is now set at 2:50 PM at Jim Brady’s.My offer still stands for the highest donation to have the dubious honor of taking off my glorious locks. That said, it is unlikely that Mr. D’Orazio or his lovely wife will be attending the festivities. This leaves the next in line to do the deed of “Anonymous in Honor of Rusty Trombone”. It is my understanding that Mr. Trombone was a man of eclectic tastes and Mr. Anonymous owed him a great deal of gratitude for opening up doors for him over the years. It was indeed a special relationship. Unfortunately Mr. Anonymous will also not be able to attend. “Anonymous in Memory of Mrs. Audrey Sherwood” still remains a mystery to me and may show up out of the blue to take credit. If not, the honor then goes to Mr. Kevin Behan.

Mr. Behan watched endless hours of Sweeny Todd and the 2002 horror classic “The Barber” before sharpening up a rusty machete for all of 4 minutes over the weekend. He is well primed for the task tomorrow to perform the surgery. Last night I had a nightmare that he took off my left year and proceeded to shout into the bloody remains “Do you hear me? DO YOU HEAR ME NOW LOMBARDO??!!!” The horror….the horror….It is not too late for last minute donations. Please remember, if your company supports matching donations fill out the form to further contribute to this worthy organization.Best Regards,Anthony

ORIGINAL MESSAGE

As one of the minority of men in the insurance industry that still has the majority of their hair (on my head and not in a zip lock bag stashed in a draw) I have decided to offer up my scalp in support of St. Baldrick’s charity this year. All who attend the shaving, scheduled to commence on St. Patricks Day at Jim Brady’s, will have the opportunity to see all the scars and dents that I have incurred over the years which may provide you with some insights into my personality. Those who see me in the weeks following can enjoy the ensuing daily fear in my eyes of my hair growing back either in a shocking white mane or, heaven help me, not at all.

As an added bonus, the person who makes the highest donation will have the option of doing the shaving. That said, I know that a few of you are may be looking for some long overdue payback. That said, THE USE OF A STRAIGHT RAZOR WILL NOT BE AN OPTION. Remember, this is for charity and it will just ruin the day if someone “accidently slipped” with a straight razor and creates an unholy mess at this fine establishment.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Anthony
