I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. When I was 14, I was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic Leukemia. I endured 2 1/2 years of chemo therapy as well as radiation therapy. My experience changed my life. I have met many people who supported and raised money for children with cancer and I was also able to give back my volunteering my time as a counselor at a camp for children with cancer. My experiences changed me as a person for the better. Even though I am cancer free, I endure constant pain every single day. Chemo therapy and medicine I took caused me to obtain a bone disease called Avascular Necrosis. This disease has caused me to go through many obstacles such as surgery's and disablement. Finding a cure for cancer is an vital thing in our world. I pray each day doctors and scientist can find cures for all cancers so children, teens and young adults wont have to go through what I went through. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
