I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Lockless Librarians

My brother's best friend's 4 year old had a Wilm's tumor (at least I think that's what it was) last year and is now cancer free. Her parents discovered it by accident. The girl hit her head on her bed one night but instead of getting a bump on her head the spot sunk into her head. They took her to the doctor who then diagnosed her. Luckily (if you can ever say that about cancer) they were told that she had the most curable form of childhood cancer and stood a 90% chance of survival. This gave them some hope but you always worry about the other 10%. She is now six years old and healthy.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
