I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Bald Titans

Hello, my name is Benjamin and I am a fourth grader at The Classical Academy. This is my third year as a shavee. I really believe in this cause and make it a point to participate and help raise money every year. This is my favorite charity. This year me and my team of 7 kids from my school, The Bald Titans are dedicating our efforts this year to a good friend and neighbor. His name is Gregg, he is 19. He is a college student at the Air Force Academy. He has not been feeling well the past nine months and doctors finally discovered a grapefruit sized tumor on his brain and had it successfully removed. He is getting ready to have 40 weeks of chemotherapy and has had to postpone his education at the academy until he is better. We hope to cheer him up and let him know that we care about him and other kids with cancer.

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
