Several days ago, my sister's friend lost her long, hard-fought, battle with cancer. She was an amazing woman, Mom and friend. While she was not a chiId when she was diagnosed, I have no doubt that she would do anything to keep her children, or any children, from having to fight the battle she did. For Stephanie, and others friends and family who have fought, and are still fighting, I am having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and also as a reminder to myself to be thankful for my healthy children and to love them more every day.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation to help with the research to find a cure. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
