I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I could simply send the pre-written message that comes with being a volunteer, but I will not.

This is my Thirteenth year  of having my head shaved for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, even though I no longer know any of the kids who have benefited from the Foundation.

I've seen kids who, over the years, have gotten a new lease on life, as well as those who fought their way to a premature end. Along the way, Ive seen how so many of us have been touched and lifted up, either as shavees, organizers, family members, and even some folks with no other connection but a desire to do some good.

Childhood cancers can also be adult cancers, and St. Baldrick's supports the research to fight all of them.

I've seen what cancer can to do kids I've known, adults I've loved, and complete strangers, and I want to keep fighting it.

So please, join me if you can. Any donation will help.
