What could be more important than saving the life of a child?
At our event, some folks will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research.
Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020.
Your gift will give kids hope by supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. We lost our own sweet daughter, Haley, after a long, hard battle with brain and spinal cord cancer. I am honoring her, as our family and others have done for years. You can read her story below.
Two weeks after we told her she was going to die, she told me that the saddest thing was she would never meet her brother Zachary's kids and become an aunt. She then wanted to make a video for them, saying hello. After this first little video, she then wanted to make videos for all of the family... so we would have a memory of her. She did this immediately, one after the other. She was tired but determined, and I had to do everything in my power not to break down while I filmed her. She was in hospice care and only 10 years old.
I treasure those videos and all of my photos of her and our life together. We did everything we could for Haley, but research had not yet found the cure for relapsed Medulloblastoma, but, with your support, I believe it will.
Mahalo for your donation. You are changing the world for these kids and families, and we are so very grateful.
