4/16/20 Update
It is with great sadness that I share that my son Nate passed away on March 30th. He is the inspiration behind "Team #22" and our drive to raise money to find a cure for pediatric cancer. Thank you to all my Team #22 members and everyone who donated to find a cure. Research will find a cure and better treatments for all kids battling cancer.
3/17/20 Update
"The 14th annual St Baldrick's day in Oswego County has been postponed until Sunday June 14th due to COVID-19 concerns. Our Team #22 has decided we will proceed to "Brave the Shave" on our own on or about Sunday March 29th. We will post pictures of the shave on our Team #22 web page. Donations can still be made and the website will remain open through June. We look forward to attending the event in June and supporting the other participants and the many raffles and drawings. Thank you all for your support. Research will find a cure!"
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
In July 2017, my then 13 year old son, Nate, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
Since then he has endured over 32 months of chemotherapy, radiation,
surgeries, immunotherapy, and has spent over 175 nights in the hospital. Now
16, he is starting his 3rd clinical drug trial to find a cure. Research is critical to
finding cures and better treatments for all childhood cancers.
All are welcome to join my team, "Team #22" and help me raise money to find a
cure. Just need to be willing to ask family & friends for donations and to cut
your hair. Hair can be cut anywhere, does not have to be done in Oswego.
