I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!

In the summer of 2013, the son of a friend from college was diagnosed with ALL.  The moment I found out the news on Facebook, I decided that the next time I was going to "Brave the Shave" would be for Ev.  So, I gave it a little more time (to let my hair grow long enough to donate - you know, the whole "2 birds, 1 stone" thing!) And now the day is rapidly approaching that I'll be cue-balling it in honor of that little rockstar and EVERY child, parent, and loved one who fights everyday!
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
So donate what you can... Every little bit helps! And let's show these amazing fighters that we care, we stand with them, and that we refuse to let CANCER have the last word!
