I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am having my head shaved to help donate money to finding a cure for cancer - I don't know any kids who have cancer, but my old teacher is sick with cancer and I feel really sorry for her and want her to get better.

I feel very lucky that I am healthy and can run around and play and enjoy life while there are so many kids who are sick or live in a hospital. I have a lot of hair and it has always been pretty long and feel like it really is a part of me, so shaving my head will help me understand how kids who are having chemo feel when they lose their hair.

Please support these kids with cancer and click "Make a Donation" above, or donate by mail or phone.
Thank you for your support!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
