I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research and to honor my friend Lisa's son Ronnie.

Ronnie was diagnosed with a inoperable brain tumor in December 2006 when he was just 2 years old. The first round of chemotherapy shrank the tumor to less than a tenth of its original size. Since 2006, Ronnie's tumor has been monitored with MRIs, 2-4 times a year. Since the initial treatment, Ronnie has undergone two more rounds of chemotherapy after MRIs showed tumor activity. He will finish his latest course in February 2014. Luckily, MRIs have shown that the latest course has worked and his tumor has shrunk even more. Ronnie is in the third grade now. He has lots of friends. He loves video games, playing baseball, and watching one of his favorite teams - he can't decide between the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Bruins, and the Duke Blue Devils.

Please help me raise money so mothers like Lisa and kids like Ronnie don't have to endure multiple treatments.
