I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Bald Eagles

Hello friends - well after the big shave I have to say it is a bit chilly at times, but I am still enjoying my express morning routines and have been graced with my new nickname of 'curly' :) On behalf of some very special kids and their families, THANK YOU all for supporting St. Baldrick's in 2011! In addition, I personally appreciate all your generous support. It has been a ton of fun and very rewarding to do what I can for such deserving cause and wonderful organization. Here are are some great picts of all Bermuda shavees - incluing yours truly; be sure to check out the 'more photos' section for some great before and after shots! http://www.thebermudian.com/afternoon-a-evening/431 If you weren't able to catch the shave; here's Team Bald Eagles, Susan Patschak, Kate Daly and myself, telling a little bit of the story of WHY we were so willing to go under the clippers. You also get to see me losing most of my locks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMjsXTBDBbE If anyone is thinking about doing St. Baldrick's next year; please contact me! I won't pressure (too) much. It's a great experience; YOU have the honor of being a hero for kids with cancer and you know what - THAT is worth more than a head of hair! Thank you all again, Shannon
