I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

UPDATE! With cash donations & a few checks which have been submitted but which haven't yet been posted through St. Baldrick's, I've hit my goal! My current total in donations is $765. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Thanks to everybody for your profound generosity. I can't wait to show you my bald head! ---------------------- A year and a half ago, I cut off 14 inches of my hair & donated it to Locks of Love. Now, I'm cutting what's left of it off for another good cause! You heard it right - I'm SHAVING MY HEAD (!) in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. I'm letting the hair fly for all children afflicted with childhood cancers, but I'm honoring in particular Johan, a great local kid who's been fighting brain tumors since the age of 5. As many of you know, I lost my beloved stepfather, Steve, to glioblastoma multiforme, the most prevalent and malicious form of brain cancer, in 2005. If I could have shaved my head for him then, I would have. You can learn more about Johan, my honoree, by checking the link on the right. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
