In Memory of John Hunt

John was the proud grandfather of Georgia, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia the day after her 10th birthday. The family was introduced to the St. Baldrick's Foundation shortly thereafter, and ever a team player, John immediately offered to shave his head in honor of Georgia and to help raise funds for childhood cancer research. 

Over the next 10 years, John supported St. Baldrick's through regular donations, volunteering at 46 Mommas' events, and braving the shave two more times - once with Georgia's sister, Ivy, and once again with Georgia in honor of her 5th year off treatment. John understood the critical need for research funds to ensure that all kids diagnosed with cancer can survive and thrive like Georgia. Now in her second year at Tufts University, Georgia is grateful for her Poppa's support and is as proud of him as he is of her.
