Meet your 2024 Cocktails for a Cure Planning Committee  

Daniele Perito  

Daniele is the Co-Founder and Chief Data Officer of Faire, a leading B2B marketplace. In his role at Faire, Daniele oversaw all data and risk management to enable the company and its customers to make data-driven decisions whenever possible. Prior to Faire, Daniele was Director of Security, Risk for Square Cash where he worked on building secure, fast, and easy-to-use products.  

Corbett Colbi  

Corbett Colbi is the Co-Founder and President of Casa Del Sol Spirits Co. Prior to Casa Del Sol, she was Director of Strategic Operations at Casamigos Tequila, having joined Casmigos after six years at Wasserman. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Colbi enjoys pouring back into the community. She and her husband Greg reside in West LA with their newborn daughter.  

Jason Heffler  

Jason is the Managing Editor of EDM.com, where he leads the team behind the world’s preeminent electronic music site. A thought leader in the space, he writes impactful features and human interest stories at the intersection of music, technology and culture. He also contributes words to Roland, one of the world’s most iconic manufacturers and distributors of electronic instruments.  

Anthony Lazzaro  

Anthony started Friend of a Friend, a brand activation collective along with a talent management group, and is an advisor for several companies in tech, fitness, and healthcare. He has built many companies, brands, and products, managed talent, and has worked in small and large organizations. He has his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and his Master’s from Arizona State University. In 2020 Anthony moved to California to lead LUMINAS, a leading-edge biotechnology product for pain relief that many celebrities and world-class athletes have invested in, before founding Friend of a Friend. 

McCall James 

McCall has over a decade of leadership experience across non-profit and for-profit organizations. This includes serving as Development Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association and Director of Events at the Cancer Support Community of Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara, as well as managing operations for Guernsey Holdings, a leading investor in over 120 QSR franchise businesses across the U.S.  

Maggie Sellers  

Maggie Sellers is an angel investor and syndicate lead, media entrepreneur and creator that sits at the intersection of entertainment, brand, and early-stage consumer startups. She founded Hot Smart Rich Media, a digital media company that empowers startup founders, investors, creators, operators and 87,000+ other aspiring knowledge workers with real business insights by cutting out the boys club and getting real about what it takes for women to dominate in a man's world. Maggie is the co-founder of HSR Ventures, an early-stage consumer syndicate that invests $150K-$500K into some of the fastest growing consumer products, services and technology including De Soi, Sydecar, Mixlab, and Ohza.  

Doug Sanders  

Doug is the President of Sanders Sports & Entertainment (SSE), which manages the personal brands of top NBA and NFL athletes and entertainers. Doug and his team help each client build legacy brands that are an extension of who they are off the court/field. SSE helps athletes with brand strategy, marketing, sponsorships, public relations, media, and community outreach. Select clients include DeAndre Hopkins, Chris Godwin, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Terrell Owens, Jerami Grant, Nick “Swaggy P” Young, Channing Frye, and other talented individuals.  

Michelle Brown  

Michelle is a Lead Client Partner at Pinterest, working with enterprise automotive brands such as Toyota, Kia, Honda, Accura, and Genesis. She has over a decade of experience in Advertising and AdTech, having previously worked at Quantcast, OwnerIQ, PHD, and LG Electronics. Michelle has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, where she studied communications and psychology.  

Ryan Brown, CAIA, CFP®  

Ryan is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC. where he advises family offices, entrepreneurs, and select institutions. Ryan earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Economics, and Entrepreneurship and a B.S. in Finance & Entrepreneurship from The University of Arizona. During his studies, Ryan also spent time studying abroad at the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in Beijing, China, as well as at The University of Newcastle in Australia.
