Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's - Michael Rue Golf Tournament, and whether you decide to play, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. The Michael Rue Golf Tournament Benefiting St. Baldrick’s Foundation Michael Rue was only 30 years young when he passed away in November, 2012. To those who knew him, he was a great friend with a big smile and a big heart, and he loved a good time! Michael also raised money for St. Baldrick’s for the past 3 years by shaving his head in honor of a friend’s child who had been diagnosed with cancer. To honor the memory of our friend Michael and his commitment to St. Baldrick’s on behalf of Chloe Baker, we are hosting a golf tournament at Steel Canyon Golf Club in Sandy Springs, GA on November 1, 2013. A “19th hole” party will follow at Padriac’s in Vinings with live music from Token (Brandon Thomas & Friends).
