Event Details

Kappa Delta Rho at Virginia Tech is hosting a head shaving event on April 28, 2010 from 11 am to 2 pm. The event will take place at the Graduate Life Center Stage and Patio. There will also be two more events to raise money to fight children's cancer. On April 26 there will be a fundraiser dinner at DP Dough on Main Street and 10 percent of pretax sales will be donated to St. Baldrick's. Then on April 28, a benefit concert featuring rap group The Hammer Boys will be held at Awful Arthur's at 10 pm. The cover will be 3 dollars and will all go to St. Baldrick's. For more information visit the Kappa Delta Rho at Virginia Tech website, www.vtkdr.com, and RSVP to the event on Facebook. Thank you to our sponsors: Awful Arthur's, DP Dough, Henebry's Jewelers, Red Bull, and SportsClips. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on our behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
